Forever exploring the best-eats in town, The Foodie Diaries (TFD) began anonymously on Instagram as a way of chronicling my culinary quests and other adventures.

Its success led to the launch of a website with a broadened focus on curating travel guides, cultural recommendations and a lifestyle series; alongside providing an in-depth coverage of the thriving food scene in London & Mumbai (the two cities I am proud to call home), spanning new restaurant openings, hidden gems and cross-cutting food-centric features.

TFD at a glance

  • Insider, recommendation-driven guides, categorised by cuisine, theme and/ or by area. Building on the popularity of the latter (for instance, Chinatown London and Seven Dials recently), the area-focused guides highlight both the historic context as well as current retail and dining landscape of particular parts of London.
  • Luxury focus, reflecting in past and/ or ongoing collaborations with leading names such as (but not limited to): The Dorchester, InterContinental Park Lane, Set Hotels, The Connaught, Four Seasons, Shangri La at the Shard, Selfridges and Harrods; in addition to Michelin-starred restaurants and other entities.
  • Travel series presenting curated travel itineraries to both – popular and offbeat destinations, with a focus on covering cultural and historic highlights alongside top foodie picks.
  • Kitchen Inspiration series, dedicated to showcasing tips, tricks and recipes from leading chefs, food writers and restaurants. Spinning off from this, is an “In Conversation” series with prolific chefs and personalities from Theo Randall to Pierre Marcolini.
